Hunter`s Dinerant in Auburn

Good old fashioned local diner in the center of town. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. The decor is a little worn but the hospitality is top shelf.

Great food, great service, great prices. We had a crazy delay Sunday night that there off our dinner plans but just an hour before close they welcomed the 9 of us in and everyone loved their meal. We will definitely return.

An authentic old school diner experience. All staff were friendly and attentive and the food was very well made. I highly recommend the Poutine!

Great place for breakfast!!

Not happy, Service was slow, 1 waitress was rude but other was friendly. I found a hair in my rueben and the mac and cheese was very bland. Weird smell when you walk in. Sad, will not return.

Great food; really bad phone ethics. A few of times I have tried to call and the phone is either busy, or they ask me to wait a minute, but forget that they have me waiting to order and either keep me on hold until I give up or hang up on me.

Ive loved this place since i moved out here for college in 2010! Classic place great food and good prices! And the staff are always fantastic and always have a smile!

Went here for the first time ever for lunch and i must say wow staff very friendly food is amazing and for 13.00 you get alot of food highly recommend the poutine and house burger

1st time here and great experience! Got the turkey sandwich and soup of the day (chicken tortilla) and it was amazing! Can't wait to come back!

If you like local color, this is the spot, a classic, stainless steel exterior diner. The food was satisfying and the prices right. Avoid those cookie cutter fast casual places. The Dinerant is the place to go!

Their coffee is very weak, watery, no flavor.Food is just okay. I probably wouldn't go back. Staff is very nice.

My boyfriend & I have been here twice for breakfast & both times were fantastic. Food is cooked exactly how we like it. Best homefries I have had anywhere. & they carry Franks hot sauce. It’s a win in my book lol

Old style stainless steel diner with good diner food and a desert rack not to be missed! Probably 2 can eat good food for about the same as a chain food emporium!

Great food and friendly atmosphere

Great tasting food, good meat, ample portions, good coffee, friendly waitresses, excellent dessert selection.This has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid in high school in the 1950's and we would stop at Dare's Radio for repair parts.Lots of other diners and restaurants have disappeared over the years, so the long-term popularity of Hunter's attests to it's quality.

I’ve loved Hunters since I was a child. I go there regularly and I always feel as if I’m part of there family. The breakfast food is my favorite. I cannot day enough good stuff about the restaurant! 5 Stars.

Really a unique spot - a classic old counter top diner that even has the jukeboxes still available at all the tables to play music. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient and the food (especially breakfast) is delicious with good portions. Great location too - right in the middle of downtown Auburn.

FANTASTIC! We are seniors and this place is exactly the way we remember the diners we hung out at. Friendly service, incredible hot homemade food with generous portions, HOMEMADE bread and an actual vegetable as a side selection. Correctly priced too!

LOOOOVED IT! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Dishes were a thousand times better than expected. Swiss burger was juicy and flavorful, the country salad, big and meaty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!

Best hometown dinner in Auburn NY. Right next door to Wegmans. Big silver building sits over the river running through Auburn. Awesome food great service and all around friendly people. Stoped in today first time in over 20 years. Still best place ever i think in Auburn NY.

Cool little place near Owasco Lake. Inside, the resturaunt has an 80s feel to it like the music players that are on your table. The staff are nice and the food is ok

As always, great food, and great service. I got the buffalo chicken salad for dinner and it was monstrous.

Ate there last night. Fried chicken plate one of the best l ever had and I'm 70. Really friendly atmosphere people talk to each other. We're from South Carolina and stopped on a whim. Glad we did.
